Life Goals
Anyone born into this world has goals they wish to achieve. I am no exception.
To me, long-term life goals don't necessarily have to be overly detailed or specific (since no one can predict their future with certainty). Even so, they must represent what I truly desire—things that, once achieved, would make me genuinely happy.
These goals serve as lighthouses guiding my path. They remind me of what I am living for, what skills I need to cultivate and learn, and how to better myself in order to live a more meaningful life.
Below is the list of 5 goals I am striving toward in my life:
1, A healthy body .
2, A high-quality network of relationships .
3, Financial freedom .
4, Rich experiences .
5, A legacy for society .
1, A healthy body
"A person with health has a hundred thousand dreams; a person without health has only one dream: health." - Ancient proverb
It goes without saying that everyone understands how crucial health is in life. Therefore, a healthy body and a tranquil, peaceful mind are the first two most important things I desire in my life .
"The most expensive bed in the world is a sickbed." - Steve Jobs
I will surely have opportunities to experience many things in the future, but without good health, I won't be able to seize those opportunities, nor will I be able to fully enjoy what I possess. Therefore, the first thing I always remember before doing anything else is that having health is having everything .
Here are some of my specific desires regarding health:
Stay healthy, rarely fall ill.
Maintain a fit physique.
Wake up every morning with a refreshed spirit.
Live a long life and depart peacefully and serenely.
The lifespan of each person depends on their health, and health is determined by lifestyle. Therefore, in daily life, to achieve these health goals, I often try to maintain and pursue a healthy lifestyle such as:
Getting enough sleep.
Eating a healthy diet.
Exercising daily.
Trying to keep myself in a good mood.
Undergoing regular medical check-ups.

2, A high-quality network of relationships
Humans are highly social animals. We cannot possibly live a truly happy life without relationships around us.
To me, good relationships are not only a solid anchor shielding me whenever I stumble, but also a springboard propelling me forward strongly on the journey to conquer the various goals of my life .
Therefore, building a network of high-quality relationships around myself is one of the most important goals I set for myself.
Here are some of my specific wishes regarding relationships:
Have a small, close-knit circle of friends.
Find a compatible partner to accompany me through life's experiences.
Hold a small, intimate wedding with fewer than 20 guests.
Have twin daughters.
Raise a few pets.
Live in harmony with nature.
Establish a network of high-quality relationships.
A person's value is the average of their closest relationships. Therefore, to build and attract quality relationships, I must constantly elevate my own value in terms of both hard and soft skills, such as:
Constantly enhancing my personal value in terms of mindset, hard skills, lifestyle,...
Cultivating and practicing interpersonal skills.
Becoming someone with high emotional intelligence (EQ).
Learning how to become a super connector.

3, Financial freedom
Money isn't everything, but it is an essential factor in achieving what we wish for. Financial freedom is the doorway to countless other forms of freedom .
I am 25 years old this year. Assuming I remain sharp and healthy until age 75, I will have about 50 years to accumulate wealth and experience life. During those 50 years, the more I can shorten the time spent accumulating money, the more time I will have for the journeys and experiences I truly love .
It is precisely the dream of freely spreading my wings to experience what I desire that serves as the biggest motivation for me to pursue this goal.
Some of the desires I am aiming for regarding career and finance:
Experience diverse job roles.
Acquire knowledge and experience across multiple domains (while primarily focusing on four areas I care about most: education, environment, technology, and finance).
Own a small business with fewer than 10 employees.
Attain personal financial freedom between the ages of 30 and 40.
Financial freedom is a journey that demands persistence over a (very) long period. To achieve this goal, here are the actions and habits I am actively practicing:
Building a method (system) to allocate my financial resources effectively.
Saving and investing as much as possible.
Stepping out of my comfort zone and challenging myself as much as possible to accumulate experience while young (allowing myself to fail while time is still on my side).
Continuously cultivating knowledge about business, my areas of interest, personal finance, and investing (all of which I synthesize into articles published on this blog).
Pursuing a minimalist lifestyle.
And of course, the greatest (and most important) thing will be planning how to simultaneously carry out both tasks— accumulating wealth and experiencing what I want —on the very same journey.

4, Rich experiences
This is the ultimate goal of my life . Everything I do serves this goal. To me, it is just like a child getting to play every single game in an amusement park to their heart's content.
I want my life to have as many experiences as possible. The experiences I want to have in life are boundless; they can be:
Exploring countries and cultures around the world.
Living in a coastal city.
Buying and owning things I genuinely like.
Doing work that I truly love.
...
With a burning desire that when I grow old, I can sit down and tell my children and grandchildren how wonderful and meaningful my life experiences were; I truly want to paint the most beautiful strokes onto the canvas of my life .
So how am I pursuing this goal? — By building freedom step by step, going with the flow of life, and seizing every opportunity to experience new things that come my way!
A quote I love dearly from Avicii's song The Nights: "One day, you'll leave this world behind, so live a life you will remember."
5, A legacy for society
One day while sitting pensively by the beach, a question suddenly crossed my mind that made me think deeply:
"If one day I pass away, what will make people remember me?"
With that pondering question, I looked toward the most renowned figures in the world to find the answer. And the answer to that question lies in the legacies we leave behind for humanity.
A person's legacy is the value they contribute to humanity. The greater the value of what is given, the more deeply and enduringly their name will be remembered.
Thus, we can see that the most famous figures are often those who left the greatest material and spiritual legacies for mankind.
Truth be told, this dream of mine might sound somewhat selfish because part of me wants to be remembered by others (people often call it status and fame, don't they?). Even so, from the bottom of my heart, I also want to bring meaningful value to society.
That giving does not mean I am a generous person, but rather a grateful one. My family, friends, and society have given me so much to make me who I am today; this contribution will be my way of paying gratitude to those who have helped me along the way.
The areas in which I wish to leave a legacy for society:
Education.
Environment.
Personal finance.
To serve this goal, here are some plans I am implementing and will continue to pursue:
-
Sharing all the knowledge and experience I possess ( currently this is the most valuable asset I have, and I am partly doing so through kimpa.work ).
-
Planning business ventures ( to me, business is providing products to solve a problem in society, which is also an act of contributing to society ).
Protecting the environment through the smallest everyday actions.
Bottom lines
To summarize, the goals I set steer my life toward exactly three words written on the national motto of Vietnam:
Independence - Freedom - Happiness
Independence to stand firm on my own feet on the road of life, relying on no one.
Freedom to comfortably spread my wings and fly anywhere, experience as much as possible, and live a life truly worth living.
And Happiness is the ultimate destination that anyone yearns for and strives to attain.
With the goals I have mapped out for my life, I might not be able to achieve all of them. Nonetheless, they serve as a guiding compass for me to live a more meaningful life, continuously better myself, and become the best version of who I can be.
In my view, that is what makes a life truly meaningful and worth living!
